New Day Hope Needlework Handbag-Pattern

Pattern to make the award-winning, sporty, repurposed jeans handbag with handmade needlework detailing. The New Day Hope Needlework Handbag pattern makes a handbag with lots and lots of pockets and a large, Bargello needlework, front panel. Bag is 11" tall x 10" wide x softly expands to 3" deep and is lined. Bag has the jean's front pockets just inside the front and hip pockets on the back. The needlework placed in the 2010 Kansas State Fair and this pattern DOES include the information you will need to make the needlework design.

Options

The name of the bag came from the front Dorothy Riley saying, "May you greet each day with hope, joy, peace and assurance that all is well." Includes front panel options to use your name on the front of the bag or to eliminate the name and saying in favor of simply expanding the Bargello pattern on the needlework front. Includes bead options on the handle and front panel.

The BB4121 Pattern contains everything you need to know to make your own handbag and the needlework panel. Includes recommendations for successfully selecting just the right pair of old jeans to begin the project. As your bag will be made from unique materials, your bag results will vary from the photos shown.
