Learn how to make your own motorcycle windshield fastener with the Fastener for Windshield Handbag pattern. Ladies, be ready to ride simply by twisting a windshield handbag on the windshield fastener. When you arrive, untwist and take the handbag with you. The fastener consists of two parts.

• The metal hardware easily attaches to two of the screws on a standard motorcycle windshield and generally does not require replacing existing hardware.
• The fastner is usually left on the bike and may be COLOR COORDINATED with the motorcycle using recommended material. The 8" long x 3"  tall x 1/4" thin fastener is flexible and leaves ample space for a windshield bag. It is wide enough to sew on a patch as desired.

Pattern does NOT cover making a windshield handbag; however any bag should work as long as it is not so large that it interferes with instruments and operations of the motorcycle and uses the required corresponding turn buttons to twist it on the fastener. 

Best of all.... the fastener may be  easily and completely removed from the motorcycle which makes it meet original equipment compliance requirements.
